Privacy Policy
BeatDig is a static site with no backend of its own. This page sets out what information is nonetheless involved.
What we do not collect
There is no sign-up on BeatDig and no screen anywhere that asks for a name, an email address or a phone number. The operator runs no server or database of their own, so nothing about how you use the metronome is collected or stored by us.
What your browser stores
Your last tempo, time signature, accent pattern, click voice, volume and colour theme are saved in your browser's local storage. Those values never leave your device and are not visible to the operator.
Clearing site data in your browser deletes them. Nothing breaks if you do; the app simply returns to its defaults.
Advertising and cookies
This site displays advertising through Google AdSense. Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on your interests. Those cookies are set and controlled by the advertising vendor, not by this site.
You can turn off personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and you can block cookies entirely in your browser. Blocking them does not affect the metronome or the tap tempo tool.
What third-party vendors collect, and how they handle it, is governed by their own privacy policies.
Server logs
The site is delivered by a static hosting provider. As part of operating and securing that service, the provider may automatically record ordinary request data such as IP address, timestamp and browser type. This is a technical byproduct of serving web pages and is not used by the operator to identify individuals.
